It’s A Wonderful Life: Indiana, PA Family Photographer

November 27th, 2009

And these six were a wonderful family! We met in downtown Indiana for our session. Not only should Mom get an award for dressing everyone so well for their portraits, but Mom and Dad should get an award for raising four really sweet kids. These guys were so much fun, and they were up for anything. I just love big families. There’s always someone to tickle, tease or tell a joke. This gang certainly kept it fun and lively! I had a great time with these guys!

Picture Perfect:: Indiana, PA Family Photography

November 4th, 2009

These two little guys are very close in age to my own boys, so between the jokes about potty training and the games about dinosaurs, I could certainly relate. The very familiar family dynamic made for a fun session. My most favorite images from this session are the family shots! They are such a beautiful, loving family.

Baby Doll

Doesn’t she look like a little baby doll? She is almost too adorable to be real!

And big sister is pretty stinkin’ adorable, too!

Fall Splendor

October 21st, 2009

I was worried there for a minute that we were going to just skip fall and go straight to winter. Thankfully we enjoyed a few gorgeous fall days last week. I put everything else on hold, and my little guy and I got outside to play! We went to Buttermilk Falls, a great little park and waterfall here in Indiana County.

Here’s one from the top. Elliott had a lot of fun splashing around at the top in his bare feet and sending little leaf-boats for a ride over the falls.

I just adore these three beauties and miss them like crazy!

The twins are just so sweet! How cool it must be to be a twin - you’ve got a built in best friend and playmate from day one! The bond these two share is really special.

And baby sister is a little stinker! :) I got a real kick out of her! She’s trouble.

She’s pinching big sis on the left in this one! :)

::No Fall Minis This Saturday::

October 15th, 2009

A high of 38 degrees with rain and snow. Really? In mid October. Really? That is way too cold for an afternoon of photo sessions. My fingers are numb just thinking about it! I may try to reschedule for next week if I can shuffle a few things around. I have some openings left, so contact me if you’re interested. Aside from the minis, I only have a few sessions left before the holiday deadline.

::Milestones:: Cranberry Twp Baby Photography

October 14th, 2009

This adorable little guy missed his afternoon nap, and Mom’s 30 minute commute turned into a 1.5 hour commute due to a few accidents on the highway - two things not in the recipe for the perfect portrait session. Nonetheless we persevered, and boy am I glad we did! The fall foliage and this sweet family couldn’t have been more beautiful. I am having a really difficult time narrowing down their proofs! So many favorites!

This little guy and his gigantic, blue eyes was just too adorable for words, and he had so much personality for such a little guy! I got a real kick out of some of the looks he gave me. :) I feel truly honored that his Mommy and Daddy chose me to take his one year portraits. That first year is huge and that first birthday is such an amazing milestone!

Even more amazing was being able to document some of this little guy’s very FIRST STEPS!!!

I accidently fell over backwards trying to get these shots with that gorgeous sun flare and that burning bush in the background. At least he was amused. :)

More from the CO minis

That intense gaze, those adorable chubby cheeks, that perfect little rosebud mouth - he’s irresistible! Boy can I see both Mom and Dad coming through in this one! We had a lot of fun together!schledornproof-13

While it’s those serious looks that always get me, Moms can’t resist the sweet smiles! :)
schledornproof-16v

He may have enjoyed me, but he REALLY enjoyed his big sister. These two were so sweet together!

And this one… she’s a spitting image of her Mama. I can not get over how grown up she is. She was just a little kid the last time I saw her!

I’m baaack!

October 2nd, 2009

And boy did I have an awesome time! I think God was smiling on me. What a well timed trip this was! Not only did I have absolutely beautiful weather in Colorado, but I was also extremely lucky to have escaped the terrible weather we’ve been having around here. I think it was payback for the fluke blizzard we got on my April trip! Elliott and I did lots of visiting, hiking, and site seeing. I can’t wait to share some of my own pics of my little guy, but I can’t touch those until I edit the photos from my mini sessions. I have a few sneak peaks ready to go. This was the third time I’ve had the pleasure of working with this beautiful family. It is such a small world! I learned on our last session that they actually have an Indiana connection. The Dad’s mother went to IUP back in the day when it was called the Indiana Normal School. Too funny! I absolutely adore this photo! I think it’s one of my favorites from all time!
