::Baby Doll:: Sewickly, PA Newborn Photographer

August 1st, 2011

I had the pleasure of meeting this much anticipated little one yesterday. Despite being a few days late she was such a tiny little peanut…and oh so cute! Mom was really on the ball and booked her session back in January. Her little girl was such a perfect little model and slept like a dream for her session. Mom asked for a sneak peek, so here it is…

When mom first emailed me from the hospital to tell me that their precious bundle had arrived, she described her as looking like a little baby doll. I’m inclined to agree.

Here’s one of the gorgeous Mama and her sweet new love.

This lucky little lady will have lots of wonderful women to learn from as she grows. Four generations of them.

There is nothing on this earth more precious than a tiny newborn smile. :) Nothing.

And one last photo of the whole family. Thanks so much guys. It was such a pleasure to be with you yesterday.

And a few reminders for clients or potential clients: it’s always a good idea to book newborn sessions while you’re expecting - the earlier the better. It allows me to build a little extra time into my schedule for you, so that we can be sure to get the session in during that first two weeks of life. And also, clients, if you would like a sneak peak, ask me for one. I’m happy to accommodate. But as I mentioned in my last post, blogging falls pretty low on the priority list with all the necessities of a business and three very busy little boys. :)

Someone’s getting big

He’s seven months old already. Where has the time gone?

Life is crazy with a business and three busy little boys! So crazy that our newest little guy never got a formal introduction on the blog! Oops! Jude Henry was born on October 24th, one week late -and I love him anyway ;) He is such a joy and the perfect addition to our happy family! He’s adored by his brothers and parents alike. Here’s one from when he was fresh and new -five days, I think. Millions more to share, if I can find a quiet moment.

::Some big news!:: Indiana, PA Child Photographer

September 1st, 2010

I completely realize that this blog update is long overdue. I do have some important news to share, though. I am completely booked for 2010! We are preparing to welcome a new addition to our family- our little one is due in about six weeks. I’m working through the end of September and then will be on maternity leave through the first of the year.

And since I can’t post without photos, I’ll share this little guy.

Boy was he fun! So full of the enthusiasm and curiosity that is the essence of being two! Next to newborns and sitting babies, I’d say that two year olds are my favorite age to photograph. Well, I have lots of favorite ages, really, but there is just something about a toddler. I’ll be sad when there isn’t one running around my house anymore… thankfully I won’t have to worry about that for quite a few years. ;) And a few more of this adorable little guy and his beautiful mommy.

::It’s A Wonderful Life:: Indiana, PA Family Photographer

November 27th, 2009

And these six were a wonderful family! We met in downtown Indiana for our session. Not only should Mom get an award for dressing everyone so well for their portraits, but Mom and Dad should get an award for raising four really sweet kids. These guys were so much fun, and they were up for anything. I just love big families. There’s always someone to tickle, tease or tell a joke. This gang certainly kept it fun and lively! I had a great time with these guys!

::Picture Perfect:: Indiana, PA Family Photography

November 4th, 2009

These two little guys are very close in age to my own boys, so between the jokes about potty training and the games about dinosaurs, I could certainly relate. The very familiar family dynamic made for a fun session. My most favorite images from this session are the family shots! They are such a beautiful, loving family.

Doesn’t she look like a little baby doll? She is almost too adorable to be real!

Fall Splendor

October 21st, 2009

I was worried there for a minute that we were going to just skip fall and go straight to winter. Thankfully we enjoyed a few gorgeous fall days last week. I put everything else on hold, and my little guy and I got outside to play! We went to Buttermilk Falls, a great little park and waterfall here in Indiana County.

Here’s one from the top. Elliott had a lot of fun splashing around at the top in his bare feet and sending little leaf-boats for a ride over the falls.

October 19th, 2009

I just adore these three beauties and miss them like crazy!

The twins are just so sweet! How cool it must be to be a twin - you’ve got a built in best friend and playmate from day one! The bond these two share is really special.

And baby sister is a little stinker! :) I got a real kick out of her! She’s trouble.

She’s pinching big sis on the left in this one! :)

And a few of the whole family…

::No Fall Minis This Saturday::

October 15th, 2009

A high of 38 degrees with rain and snow. Really? In mid October. Really? That is way too cold for an afternoon of photo sessions. My fingers are numb just thinking about it! I may try to reschedule for next week if I can shuffle a few things around. I have some openings left, so contact me if you’re interested. Aside from the minis, I only have a few sessions left before the holiday deadline.

::Milestones:: Cranberry Twp Baby Photography

October 14th, 2009

This adorable little guy missed his afternoon nap, and Mom’s 30 minute commute turned into a 1.5 hour commute due to a few accidents on the highway - two things not in the recipe for the perfect portrait session. Nonetheless we persevered, and boy am I glad we did! The fall foliage and this sweet family couldn’t have been more beautiful. I am having a really difficult time narrowing down their proofs! So many favorites!

This little guy and his gigantic, blue eyes was just too adorable for words, and he had so much personality for such a little guy! I got a real kick out of some of the looks he gave me. :) I feel truly honored that his Mommy and Daddy chose me to take his one year portraits. That first year is huge and that first birthday is such an amazing milestone!

Even more amazing was being able to document some of this little guy’s very FIRST STEPS!!!
