This month’s blog circle post is dedicated to my love of this little guy. So hard to believe that my baby is three. I’ve been taking his photo in this location, on this chair every year since he was a newborn. He’s grown just a bit. Why do they have to do that?

Next up in the circle is the super talented Melissa of Throo The Lens Photography. Check out her post and follow the links until you end up back here.

Those curls…and that sweet smile. I love the fall colors. Beautiful work!

Julie - November 19, 2013 - 10:36 am

Love these fall pics and the soft processing on them! The running one with the leaf is amazing! Would love to see the entire “chair” series!

So beautiful!
I’d love to see the previous pictures with this chair too ๐Ÿ˜‰

Whew! I took advantage of the Columbus day holiday yesterday to run out and get some quick photos of my three little men, so I could sneak in under the deadline for this month’s “For the Love” blog circle post. This post is dedicated to the love of the beautiful warm tones of fall. The landscape and foliage of our area is absolutely breathtaking this time of year… just wishing life would slow down just a little bit so I could really enjoy it! This year is flying by…

Jill, I love your work! The middle picture of the boys laughing and squished together is adorable. The colors and the moments that you captured are just beautiful.

I wish I could have fall pictures for my whole family like this ๐Ÿ™‚
Love colors and spirit of Fall!

These are so sweet! I love the natural feel to them, both editing and posing (or lack there of!)

Thank goodness for our little blog circle! Without it my poor blog would be lying fallow all summer – not for a lack of stories or sessions to share, but for a lack of time. Summer always seems to go so fast, but this one has gone faster than ever. I’m not quite ready to send the littles back to school just yet. We are having too much fun! And we have one more week to cram in just a bit more…

This month’s blog post is dedicated to the love of my amazing husband. I am so blessed to spend my life as Mrs. Matthew Tomb. I could not have possibly made it through this past year without him. He is my soul mate, my everything. We celebrated twelve years of wedded bliss with an anniversary trip to Charleston, South Carolina last week. Neither of us had ever visited Charleston before, and now I think we’re hooked. We are both eager to go back. What amazing food, amazing cocktails, amazing history…! Needless to say, we had an amazing time!

I LOVE Charleston! We almost moved there right out of college and sometimes I wish we had. It is so beautiful and friendly!

Julie - August 20, 2013 - 1:29 pm

Those should be in a travel magazine! Congrats on your anniversary!

Nina - August 22, 2013 - 9:16 pm

This place looks really interesting! I wanted to visit it for a long time, and now I’m more eager ๐Ÿ™‚ Beautiful pictures!

This month’s post sort of continues along the same lines as last month’s with the love of summer fun and family time. This one specifically celebrates our collective love of the beach. We spent a few days at Assateague Island earlier this month. My family vacationed here when I was a kid, and Matt and I have brought our boys back three or four times in recent years. It is really heartwarming to see them get so excited about the same things that make up my childhood summertime memories – biking to the beach, looking for wild ponies, catching blue crabs, climbing to the top of the lighthouse, flying kites on the beach, etc. etc. Ahh nostalgia!
Please continue on to the talented Jennifer Stein’s blog, and see what she captured for this month’s project.

Great details. These are truly wonderful! Hope you get them printed! We are leaving for our beach vacation Thursday, I can’t wait!

Jennifer Stein - July 23, 2013 - 9:45 am

Oh, what great beach pictures. I love the beach too. We have been to Lake Erie and Raystown Lake and they have sand – but they are not the ocean.

Love the photos. So bright and clear and full of summer light.

Your pictures are making me jealous! I have no beach vacation planned this year! These look like so much fun!

Nina - July 24, 2013 - 6:37 pm

Great summer memories! Love the curls of your little one ๐Ÿ™‚

This month’s post is dedicated to the love of Summer fun! I’m so glad to have all three of my monkeys home with me for the summer. These warm, sunshiny days fly by way too quickly. Inspired by a high school friend, we made a list together of 100 Fun Things To Do This Summer as a way of motivating us to spend our days intentionally this summer. We’ve been checking things off the list left and right and having tons of fun!

Head on over to Jennifer Stein’s Blog and see how she interpreted this month’s “For The Love” theme. Then continue following the blog circle until you end up back here…

I have always wanted to do a berry picking session with my girls. These are wonderful!

Nina - June 25, 2013 - 9:52 am

What a great idea! I heard about it, but never tried for myself. Maybe now we will make our list too. Your pictures look so great, I hope summer will come here in Seattle at last!

Julie - June 25, 2013 - 10:40 am

Love your 100 list! The strawberry picking looks amazing–great images of what summer feels like.

Jennifer Stein - June 25, 2013 - 11:37 am

It is fun and busy when everyone is home! We have a list too. I love the strawberry picking. Blueberry picking is on our list.

Where were the animals? Living Treasures? I love the giraffe tongue.

Enjoy the summer. I’m already looking forward to your post in July!
