Ah February… the month of hearts and roses and cupids and … LOVE… also the point in the year when we’ve all had enough of winter! Ha! I am very fortunate to have just enjoyed a much needed respite from the cold and gray Pennsylvania winter. After spending almost two weeks in the Florida sunshine with my Valentine, I can appreciate these snowy pictures of my three little LOVES. I actually love taking photos in the snow and am very much looking forward to a fun, family sledding session this weekend.

It’s time again for our monthly “For the Love” blog circle. I am so thankful for this group of kind and talented ladies that are keeping my blog alive and inspiring me to capture and share these memories with my kiddos. This post again is dedicated to the love of snow. I just love the peaceful, beautiful clothes of winter.

This month’s “For the Love” blog circle post is dedicated to the love of holiday traditions. It is truly the most wonderful time of the year. One of our favorite family traditions is going to get our Christmas tree. It has been perfectly snowy the last few years! Gamble Tree Farm in Shelocta does a wonderful job making the whole experience magical and memorable, from the tractor ride to the gorgeous hilltop tree farm (complete with blankets to snuggle up), to the cozy barn with hot cocoa and yummy treats to warm up after you find the perfect tree.

Another one of our favorite ways to celebrate the season is by attending the Oakmont Country Club’s Family Christmas Celebration. They do it right with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a puppet show, balloon artist, crafts, cupcake decorating, carolers, fabulous food and so much more. It is always so much fun!
